Get ready for an exciting week of swimming competition as seven current and former NC State Wolfpack swimmers prepare to make their mark at the 16th FINA World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia. The six-day short course meter competition, set to take place from December 13th to 18th at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, will see these talented athletes representing their respective countries on the world stage.
Leading the way is NC State Head Coach Braden Holloway, who will be leading Team USA as their Head Coach. This will be his third time taking the helm for the country’s top swimmers in international competitions, previously serving as Team USA’s men’s head coach at the 2019 World University Games and as an Assistant Coach at the same event in 2017. Adding to the Wolfpack’s presence, NC State Associate Head Coach Chris Heaton will also be coaching at the World Championship meet, representing Slovakia’s national team.
